EMCD has launched Monitoring, a unified management center for ASIC devices designed for mining setups of different sizes — from private operations with five or more machines to large data centers.

Monitoring addresses a long-standing challenge for miners: managing an entire ASIC fleet from one place. This product is designed to work across different pools, firmware, and devices.

One Place to Monitor and Manage the Entire ASIC Fleet

Monitoring brings the key parts of ASIC operations into one interface, giving operators a clear view of device performance and the tools to respond when something changes.

Key features include:

  • Live monitoring and alerts: Track hashrate, device status, chip temperature, and fan speed across the fleet, with alerts when a machine goes offline or its performance drops
  • Visual maps and heat maps: Map containers and racks, including custom layouts, and quickly identify devices or cells that need attention
  • Pool diagnostics and bulk actions: Check whether an issue comes from the ASIC, connection, or mining pool, then restart, reconfigure, or reassign multiple devices at once
  • Reports and operational history: Keep records of device events, repairs, and energy use, with reports separated by owner or site for internal reporting and invoicing
  • Team and client access: Assign roles to owners, administrators, and technicians, while data center clients can review the service history of their ASICs through a dedicated app

This gives both private miners and large operators one place to monitor hardware, investigate issues, and manage day-to-day ASIC operations.

More Automation Is Coming

Upcoming updates will add AI-based automation and insights. Planned tools include electricity-price-based operating schedules, device health analysis, and alerts for hardware that repeatedly requires attention.

API and MCP access are also planned for miners who want to connect monitoring data with their own systems and LLM-based tools.

To mark the launch, new Monitoring users can receive 50% off subscription fees for the first three months.

How to Mine Zcash: A Step-by-Step Guide
In 2026, Zcash mining is primarily an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) activity. Zcash uses Equihash, so miners need hardware built for that algorithm, a compatible wallet address, and — in most practical setups — a Zcash mining pool.
